Vincent Willem van Gogh (né le 30 mars 1853 à Groot-Zundert aux Pays-Bas - mort le 29 juillet 1890 à Auvers-sur-Oise en France) Peu appréciè pendant sa vie, est aujourd'hui l'un des peintres les plus connus au monde.
Dans l'héritage de Van Gogh, composé de plus de deux mille toiles et dessins, il y a aussi cet chef-d'œuvre: 'châtaignes rouges dans parc public aux arles' de l'avril 1889.
Vincent Willem van Gogh (30 March 1853 – 29 July 1890) was post-Impressionist painter whose work had a far-reaching influence on 20th century art.
Little appreciated during his lifetime, his fame grew in the years after his death.
Among his production of more than 2,000 artworks, consisting of around 900 paintings and 1,100 drawings and sketches, there is this masterpiece: "Red Chestnuts In The Public Park At Arles".
